33.500 new trees on Mors

DFI-GEISLER company forest has now been planted on Mors.

The forest is much more than its environmental impact!
The new forest is a clear example of the many initiatives, which we have taken in recent years to reduce our climate footprint and contribute to the local area.
Besides the positive effect on the environment, another goal of the new forest is also to create a new active meeting place out in nature.
The forest is planted next to the natural-historical Skarregaard on Nordmors, where the beautiful nature and history of the mo-clay can be admired and explored.
It is a pleasure for us to be able to plant the forest in this beautiful place where in the future, children and adults alike will be able to admire the nature, wildlife and biodiversity.
The plan is that the newly established forest will also include an observation tower, shelters, fire pits and so on. In addition, the forest will also have footpaths that are connected to the current trail networks in the area.
FACTS:
The forest is a collaboration between DFI-Geisler and Morsø Municipality, and covers an area of approximately 9 hectares, which corresponds to about 18 football pitches.
The forest is deciduous woodland made up primarily of oak, linden and beech trees.
