History

DFI-GEISLER was created in 2006 by merging two of the markets strongest producers: DFI and GEISLER. The goal of the merging was to combine the best competencies and qualities from the two companies, in a unique brand with a solid repository.

DFI was founded in Herning in 1976, and GEISLER was established in 1987 in Nykøbing Mors. Both companies has through the years experienced constant growth in revenue and employes - like the product-range in both companies has been expanded significantly.

The sparring and the competition up through the years has strengthened both parts - at first in the Danish market and later in Skandinavia and Europe. Meanwhile, DFI and GEISLER has reached bigger understanding and respect for each others values.

With this background, the merge to DFI-GEISLER is seen as a natural consolidation and strengthening of two already strong, Danish worktop-producers position on the European market.
